Karen Longwell writes for insauga.com, a Mississauga news site. She is also a freelance photographer and journalist based in Toronto. Her work has appeared in the Toronto Star, National Post, This Magazine, blogTO, Travel Life, Nieman Lab and the Review of Journalism. She writes about travel, climate change and social justice issues. Karen has worked as a photographer, editor and journalist at newspapers across Canada. She completed a Master of Journalism degree at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2020.
